What’s behind the curtain? For the last few weeks I juggled multiple projects behind-the-scenes with not much output to show off so here’s what I got going on:

Caw pulling down a curtain to show multiple doodles: someone speaking through a red phone, a hand waving and saying help, papers with the word revisions, a blue dog waving with a book on their head and the words group projects surrounding them, and two computers with an arrow between them and the word data.

⭐️I wrapped up a consultancy with the Western Archives Institute where I helped coordinate an intensive two-week archival training over zoom and google classroom.

⭐️I spent a lot of time talking to colleagues and prospective clients on projects like reviewing existing documentation and setting up a DAM program.

⭐️I worked on my book, Archives and the Politics of Tribal Sovereignty Violence, and revisions for an article on augmented reality digital asset management.

⭐️I started working with the powerhouse Lindsay Schroeder on a client project to pick out and set up a grant management database.

⭐️I also reviewed what kind of professional organization’s I belong to (I joined MARAC!) and made progress on group projects, like data analysis of a survey on still images with Julie McVey and Sahara Smith.

What have you been working on this summer?
