I’m a part of a working group looking at still image authenticity and we made a survey to collect use cases/user stories to be included in the Appendix of a white paper on the subject.

The Digital Object Authenticity Working Group (DOAWG) is seeking use case/user story for expressing authenticity in heritage digital objects from the cultural heritage community to be included in the Appendix of a white paper on the subject. This survey is open March 10 - May 12, 2026 at: https://forms.gle/mt7HwZAz48eUC4xf9

Survey answers (name, institution, use case concern, and case description) will be included in the Appendix of Three Pillars of Authenticity for Heritage Digitization white paper. The purpose of the white paper is to inform policy makers and foster community engagement around what defines authenticity in heritage digitization in terms of provenance, visual accuracy, and context. You can view the current draft of this white paper on the DOAWG website: https://www.doawg.org/three_pillars_of_authenticity_for_heritage_digitization/.
